Physical Education Clothes
Students at East Prairie are required to change into their PE clothes every day for PE class.
T-Shirt - Tuscola PE shirts are available in the office. A Tuscola is not required. Shirt needs to be white, gray, gold, or black.
Athletic Shorts - dark color - correct length
Athletic Socks - separate pair for PE
Athletic Shoes
Students may bring an extra set of PE clothes to leave in their locker. This will help if they forget their clothes.
It is also a Great idea to put the students name on their clothes.
When it is cold the students may want to bring a sweatshirt and sweats.
Deodorant - stick or gel not sprays please.
No jewelry can be worn during class. Bring a container for the jewelry to leave in PE locker.
No glass containers
No perfume

Gym floor - when entering the gym please stay off the main floor (basketball court.)
Dressing - get dressed quickly. No yelling or screaming. Do not bother any other student's clothes, books or belongings.
Lockers - Do not write on the lockers. Lock your lock. Do not share your combination with another student.
Roll Call - After getting dressed for PE class stand in your spot in roll call. After class sit on the floor and you may visit or study quietly.
Drinks - After class two students may get a drink at a time.
Equipment room - Students are not allowed in the equipment rooms without permission.
No gum, candy or pop is allowed in the gym or locker room.
No profanity
No fighting
Do not use the back door to the locker rooms.

Grading
Grading is based on participation, sportsmanship, attitude, and cooperation
Students must dress for PE everyday. If a students does not dress it is either a free day or no dress day. The first day a student does not dress it is their free day. Students get one free day each 9 weeks. After they use their free day the next time they don't dress it is a no dress day.

The grading is also on a point system. THe students will receive 5 points per day/25 per week = 225 poionts per 9 weeks.
The teacher will deduct points if the student does not follow the Physical Education expectations.

Medical Excuses
When a student bring a note from a doctor they are excused for the number of days on the doctors note. If there is not a date on the doctors' note then the student can't participate until they have a doctors' note stating they may return. The student may not return with a a parent note.
Parent/Guardian Note
The student may bring a note from a parent/guardian to excuse them from physical education class if the student is not feeling well or is hurt, these notes usually only last 3 days. The physical education teachers will use common sense in their judgment of these notes. Parents/guardian please sign and date the notes.
